Wow.
Trexx was off the f'n hook. Nice club with great lasers/effects in the main room and buy one get ones for an hour or two . Everyone was there for the music. The vibe was phenominal and the Syracuse people welcoming and hospitable. Definitely going to make it out there again for the local DJs who rocked and the great feeling and energy everyone was putting out.
3PO, Czech & Tweeknasty blew everybodies minds. Didn't see Czech last year at the first one, but quickly learned what all the hype is about. Very cool dude too. Loved when Czech dropped that Zeppelin track ! Dance floor in the main room was paaaacked from begining till I left after Tweeknasty's set.
Only time i spent in the DnB room was to run through it to get to the smoking patio and smaller side room with Techno/Minimal/Dubstep. The sound in the DnB room was PEIRCINGLY painful. Not my bag of music but the horrible sound made it intolerable.
The other little smoking room had some awesome dark techy beats by some Syracuse locals who were mad cool. Wish this room was bigger and not designated as a smoking room cuz i woulda loved to dance to my favorite music being played in there, no room to dance with everyone smoking but great music.
Big Thank Yous to Liquid Air, Mikey Parkay, the vastly talented & down to earth Syracuse Local DJs, the dancers & ravers who poured their Hearts out on the floor with me, the friendly bartenders, and the respectful & professional security & staff. Hope to go back soon and/or see some of Syracuse in Buffalo.
They know what it's really about in 'Cuse and we need more of that in Buffalo.
Apparently syracuse doesn't have as bad of a rap as you all may think

Spent my time in the main room babysitting the system. Overall this was the best night musically i have heard in a while on the main stage great job everyone! |

OMG!!! it was like 1 dj had 4 arms...ive never seen 2 djs work off of each other on 4 decks like that before...Insanity!!!

Had fun, got drunk, and worried about recording my set with Isis on the mic and not concentrating on sound quality. SCSI and D'mil rocked it and was diggin Sifer's set. Thanx again MP for having me out. |
