Last year I was motivated to organize an outdoor/camping event for my friends and family in the EDM scene in Upstate...It was NOT to be, due to quite plainly NO Venue to Host the bash...dig???
that little snag has been remedied...
***40 years ago the hippies of San-Fransisco and elsewhere started the peace and love generation off right with events like:
the Hog-Farm picnic,the Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test,and WOODSTOCK
giving bands like the Warlocks (the Grateful Dead) and countless others a place to shine and showcase the music that has since inspired millions throughout the years...

Sparhawk are pioneers of a musical genre they call "woods-core." The

lineage to Sonic Youth and Neil Young.
Yonderverse...Yonderverse premiered its set in Brooklyn,N.Y. at the Primal Future Exposition 2006, and has been blaring noise ever since. Shouting ,crooning,and whispering lyrics primarily based on drug addiction,recovery, and quantum physics. Layering these over I.D.M beats, low frequency loops,bass guitars and theramins, they are a band tethered to Earth by balloons and amps. Imagine Sebadoh meets Add N to X . GENRE = Lo-fi/experimental/garagebass/electronica/noise

Hellfish...Hellfish are an upstate New York indie, alternative rock band who play mostly the Syracuse and Oswego region. They play a style they refer to as “Bar Rock.” The group began as a four-piece garage band in 1996 and first went under the name Covered Wagon. They later changed their name to The Hellfish, borrowed from a favorite Simpsons episode. Mostly playing Battle of the Bands competitions and house parties they based their sound off their original ideas.

Actually when you get onto 370 from 690 cato is only like 10 or 12 miles from the exit. just so people dont go to far. but when u get to cato you will come to the only stop light this little town has and that is the intersection of 370 and 34. god this is gunna be crazy fun shit. cant wait!!! 14 more hours to go!!! And better yet the land is only like 8 minutes from my house! im pumped  |
