CR & Isis dnb set. don't expect much from sound quality as its much harder to record a live set than in studio.
If anybody has recording program other than soundforge 9.0 let me know as SF is starting to really get on my nerves.

Def not the hardware. I hook it up to my home computer with no problems. |

dunno if its same problem.
Not 3 pronged.....but I can't hear the noise just see the noiose in the led meters. The led meters are reading 1/3 even before I hit start. |

Posted - 03/10/2010 : 11:48:03 AM On my new laptop, I'm getting noise when in record mode. So I have to compensate by turning down the mixer and turning up the speakers(powered). Its like picking up outside noise but cant find where its coming from. BHM(who is very knowlegable in computers) cant even find where its coming from.
While doing the set, I was so consumed with the recording that neglected the sound quality. THAT, will never happen again.
After my set/recording, turned down the Makies and turned back up the mixer and sound quality got better.
I'd like to find a recording program that I can manually adjust and not rely on turning down mixer, where in essence the mixer is not doing what its supposed to do.
I'd like to know what everyone is using for recording and your likes/dislikes on that paticular program. |

Posted - 03/10/2010 : 09:10:19 AM Audacity is free, but it's basically the same as sound forge. What's wrong with sound forge?
