As most variations of these medications make you feel like dog $hit through the entirety of treatment.
You'd be surprised at the amount of things that you encounter on a daily bases that is harmful to your body, and that can cause long term damage. silverware, soda cans, The flame retardant spray on furniture, televisions, computers, cell phones... to just list a few. These have all been linked to long term damage be it cancer, alzheimers, tumors and holes in the brain. Yet we continue to use these products.
MDMA does have the potential to drill holes in your brain, yes. But, that is in prolonged extreme usage. The dosage recommended for psychiatry are so low that it almost completely diminishes the possibility for long term harm. Since the dosage is so low the 'hangover' felt from taking MDMA for medicinal purposes would be no worse than a hangover from say alcohol.
The reason people get wrecked the next day from taking MDMA is because they are taking dirty E pills with junk in them. Having taken both before I can say that the hangover from taking MDMA is no wheres near the hangover felt from taking dirty E pills.
Does any of this make it perfectly ok? No. No drug is perfectly ok. But, allowing people to the opportunity to lower their mental defenses for self improvement is ok... if done with care and respect.
Perhaps. i suppose I'm open to the concept yet based on personal experiences I know that it's not for me. Love the high, hate the next day. Scary cycle. And yes, clean mdma is much different. that much we agree about. |
