I moved back in october, and have been piecing together the current studio. As usual, a picture is not able to fit it all in there. So here is a video of it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CSUjoUWybI

4 turntables
3 CDJs
4 mixers
4 M-Audio Stuidophile AV40s
2 Pioneer bookshelf speakers
1 10" powered sub
plus a reciever, a pc, a midi-controller, a printer, a bunch of crap, a bunch of records, and some soundproofing stuff installed.

be jealous.

oh and also - all turntables and cdjs can be played and mixed at the same time!

its ok. It was cool when it first came out I guess, but I wouldnt suggest buying one. The one I got is first gen, and im holding on to it for a buddy in iraq. I wouldnt have payed for it myself. The mechanics are loud (sounds like an old discman when a cd is in it) and the features arent good imo.

not necc cause the pay is better... but cause the crowd is bigger maybe.

I ain't gonna lie... It's pretty exciting to see younger kids excited and coming out to listen to any kind of EDM. And I'll adapt my sound to keep them coming out.

I do like dubstep so that's not really an issue.
But I still keep my sets full of house/electro/techno also.

progressions of musical tastes? or an easily produced genre that people are making because the pay is better?

newsflash buddy: I like (some) dubstep. Not because it's "cool" but because I like to listen to it/play it at appropriate times.

I know what you are saying though. Just don't like being lumped into that pack.
