What would you consider the tunes like DJ Hazards tracks and 'body rock' which have jumpy ass bass lines
New School Jump up or Clownstep ??????????????

Right on, and I do agree with you... no doubt. Thanks.

i dont think its hatred as much as more of a desire to see new and/or different elements in tunes. there are tons of fine tunes that come out with proper reeces - one of my favorite sounds for sure...unfortunately there seem to be a lot more straightforward reece tunes out these days, that mimic other more solid tunes. Knowing nesa and plume tho, i can assure that these dudes are more inclined to "rabblerouse" in a thread like this more for fun than anything else

the hatred is good tho (at least i think so), because it promotes movement and futurism within the scene.

peace, :)
Jason

What's up with the Reese hatred? Is it because it's overused? Is it because of lazy production (ie. shit song with a reese bassline)?

Not trying to take the piss here, but I'm just curious. ;)

Thanks.
nesa Posted - 10/31/2004 : 2:09:13 PM
"Just lay a phat reese over that, you'll have a tune.."
plume Posted - 10/29/2004 : 11:02:13 AM
it needs more reese bass...

just a reminder. there is absolutely nothing wrong with jump up.

canGURU Posted - 10/23/2004 : 6:22:29 PM
it depends on the clown playing it.

did you ever see drumfunk originator so&so's haircut?

whats his name?

all the way, its the mimes we should watch out for.

Dom P Posted - 10/11/2004 : 10:18:27 AM
great grand wonderful
nesa Posted - 10/10/2004 : 3:32:06 PM
it would sound like body rock..
Asrael Posted - 10/10/2004 : 12:55:07 PM
The real question is if a clown stepped in shit and nobody was around, would it make a noise?

nesa Posted - 10/10/2004 : 10:29:29 AM
how about 'shit step'?

if a clown stepped in shit, would he notice???
nesa Posted - 10/10/2004 : 10:27:48 AM
^^ he's not joking, he's crazy-
he even said 'seen'

i was going to ask if it really mattered because they are both KA KA.

but that's just like, my opinion, man.

sometimes i think about cheetahs.
plume Posted - 10/09/2004 : 12:38:14 PM
I speak the truth. the only subgenres worth knowing are drumfunk, and neurofunk!!!!

seen?

(all in jest, but of course that's how I really feel!)
