For almost a decade, GAC Productions has been producing an event that has broken down barriers, united crews statewide and brought people together in the old school spirt of rave. From it's humble beginings in a small arcade on teall ave to some the the most pretegious venues in central new york, Quikk Fixx never ceases to amaze, shock and produce a smile on every face that enters it's door. This year we unite some of our oldest friends and favorate performers in a venue that we can all call home. Tonight join us for the one, the only Quikk Fixx.

THE FOUR FOUR!

DJ Irene
Genre: Hard House & Techno
Am Only - Los Angeles

So what? Another girl DJ. Not in this case. She doesn’t go topless, doesn’t smile coquettishly or Seductively for the camera, she didn’t just start mixing 3-5 yrs. ago when it became cool. DJ Irene is DJ culture in all its brazen, globetrotting, mythic womanizing, beat banging, trend raising and trend killing glory. With her signature laugh she has lived a fearless life, daring all who challenged her to step up. “Yeah great, there are lots of girl DJs, so what? I was a girl DJ too, now I’m a DJ Diva, lets see how many of them can hang like me. Let’s see.” If you consider yourself knowledgeable about the DJ world but haven’t seen DJ Irene yet then you haven’t seen one of the most entertaining and engaging DJs in the biz. Find out where she will be at next and don’t let nothing stop you from getting there. Be fearless, like her.

Josh The Funky 1
Genre: Funky House
System Recordings/Funktion/EV - Chicago

Josh "The Funky 1" hails from Chicago, the home of House Music. A DJ for over 12 years, Josh blends a unique style of funky house, tech-house, and breaks, while incorporating ill-scratching and turntable tricks. Josh's passion for the art of DJ'ing first came about when he discovered hip-hop while still in grade school. A fan of early pioneering hip-hop groups like Public Enemy, EPMD, and Eric B and Rakim, he was enthralled by the art of scratching. One day a friend lent Josh a videotape of a DJ battle, which unknowingly turned out to be a D.M.C. battle, the most renowned DJ battle in the world. Mesmerized by what he saw could be done with 2 turntables and a mixer, Josh practiced and honed his skills relentlessly. His passion and persistence proved to be worthwhile, as he has since displayed his skills in some of the most prestigious DJ battles in the world. Aside from competing, Josh's passion for music has led him to compile several mix compilations including his own "House Funktion" series, which showcases his diverse music selection and wicked turntable skills. Josh has also helped to co-produce legendary D.J., Bad Boy Bill's , "Bangin the Box Vol. 4" and "Banging in London" mix compilations. He hasn't ripped up the floor since Quikk Fixx 5. Get ready for his scratching skills and banging selection, It's time once again for Josh The Funky 1!
