| Maybe you could talk to the good people at Sterling Stage about using/collaborating with them for such an event. If you haven't been to Last Daze of Summer or Folk Fest, you're missing out for a treat of freedom in today's biased world. |

there are alot of harsh truths in this world and one of them is that Tommy Ryan, owner of Sterling Stage, HATES techno music with all his tie-dye heart...His brother Mike Ryan is a nice enough guy but having a 3 day free rave at Sterling Stage Kampitheater is next to nearly impossible(especially Memorial Day weekend)...I'm not trying to bash their good names...I love "Stage"...Ive had lots of fun there in the past and the owners are the greatest to allow so much debauchery and freedom happen there...but the reality is:they hate raves and most electronica dance beat oriented stuff...they're stuck on the:
"Jam Band-Progressive Rock & Folk Rock stuff"...Im an old tour Dead Head so i can respect and understand their needs & issues...
all the power to them...
Its all good...we will find a place where freedom is possible for 3 days...one more time! |

venue?yeah?um?...Im committed to finding a spot worthy of how hard we are sure to party for the final picnic...In the years past we have used numerous different venues to do the annual Pot Luck bash...most notably:100 acre woods which is a front running contender as long as we can iron out the noise issues with the neighboring populace in Conquest/Weedsport NY...I have high hopes that everything will work itself out as soon as the snow melts.Mid to late April...I plan to speak at a town meeting in Early April to see what is needed for permits and security and to voice our case in regards to these types of events....there is alot of woods out there and Im sure there is some sort of agreement or arrangment that we can come up with to make all parties happy...>fingers crossed<

Please record that and place it on youtube. I lol'd really REALLY hard when you said that they brought up the Pot Luck thread from last year on UUnet at the meeting on a projector.
