i'd rather buy some USB midi interfaces and call it a day

to me it's less about what you use than what you do with it

i like the whole maximum from minimum approach...give me a decent computer, controller, high end sound card and i'm all set

I have had the same Live setup for 6 years. Vaio/A.Live w/Uc-33, E-Mu XL-7, Korg EA-1, keyboard controller cheap Boss sampler I mostly use for the EFX.
I'm like a little girl who likes to read teeny bopper mags
and think about the hot guys they will never be with.

I knew open labs was going to do something like this. I'd like the screen slanted up. Is that a touch screen? better be. 4K. Definitely getting there though.

The maven seems pretty outdated now that Ableton specific controllers are starting to pop up.

The Vestax VCM600 has way more controls than Sasha's controller.

The Akai may become the 'standard' controller just based on its price and the fact that it is endorsed by Ableton. Add in max4live and this thing could change the way people DJ. I know I will be incorporating this controller into my setup.

Even korg's nanokontrol offers just as much control wise as the maven. lol
