| Spoke with Hyphonic sound and we are all set to do this UK style.. Not only is he bringing out his brand new subwoofers for added nausea for those bold enought to stand front of the stage, we are changing the sound setup to the standard setup for most large dnb shows.. as one of the originals promoters still active in promoting dnb in syracuse (credit due to those before me, Footsouljah, Elite Tribe and Channel-live) we are going to continue to due the mixing in this fashion. Syracuse it's time to get your fist on! |

| thanks to all of the cny crew for accomodating bones jones at desiderata, but the fish was not nearly as big as u guys say it was. it was the thrid night for everyone else there but me, and everyone looked like they were about ready to go home. and i was hammered having a good time, but i wasnt blacked out, i dont get that way ask anyone that knows me, and i remember everything that happened that night. i never threatened anyone, told a couple people to gtfo of my face, but i'm not about to fist pump unless its time to defend myself. i never kicked anything over on purpose but i might have knocked some shit over by mistake. in all yeah i was a little out of line, but it was nothing that warrants public internet grandstanding jabs at bones. i think its time for the sewing circle to chill out and realize bones is a real dude whos does shit for the right reasons, and there is no reason for these personal attacks on the thread 6 months after ur desiderata party. like i said, i am an approachable guy, so approach me. i have been patient w your assumptions and embellishments in this thread for a minute now, only defending myself w reasons for my behavior. stop calling me out, u people have nothing to prove, there is no battle here to be fought, other than to keep me down or try to get people to boycott my set or something. thats lame, high school shit. next. |

| dang, i thought i was just tryin to defend myself from the third person that felt the need to publicly attack me, internets are a funny thing. i will again apoligize for raisjng my voice and knocking over or tripping over ur stuff, i was out of line. would anyone like a pound of flesh too? honsestly i just got time warner back and i'm just tryin to have a little fun in here when i'm taking a break from letting the tunes do the talking ( geez have to repeat myself alot in here). are a couple of you having a bad week or something? |

| guaranteed none of u meanies have ever had a one minute conversation w me outside of this night. i came over to that stage all riled up cuz i had just almost got kicked out for trying to stack some subs to load for the sound guys, half of the bassbins werent even on on the main stage and i was the only one who noticed this too, figured i was helping them out hehe. yeah i was on the sound warpath and that was a bit wrong, but i feel that sound is one of the most important things at a party and sometimes i think i'm the only one who feels this way. i have been dealing w trying to get this complicated dnb stuff to come thru smaller piece meal sound systems for 11 years now, and in the past leading up to desiderata i have had nothing but patience for sound ur local sound guy, i am one too, but i think that 11 years of him generally failing me came to a head that night. |

whoa drama.
I thought Mikey + Zoot + Gannixx did an excellent job on the renegade stage @ desi. Outdoor parties are always so much tougher to pull off. Also the sound was on point, and any DJ worth their clout could easily match with the monitor distances. Shit my set was even cut short while we got the generators working properly, but I didn't complain; I was just happy to be a part of such a crazy event. =/

| Yeah.. Youtube 'Bassline' Smith and Drumsound.. They are down right insane. I am really excited about the huge response for this event.. both on the boards and off. I can't wait to get the ball rolling with the dope flyers dan from 1000styles has planned. I'm going to post it up first thing. But for now, a little vacation, It's my daughter's birthday party today : ) See you all next week. |
