Oh yes....we are just about 30 days from the start of the NFL Season and as usual all anyone is talking about are the Dallas Cowboys and Brett Favre (normal), but thats okay.
Really like my Giants squad this year. They shored up things in the secondary by adding Antrel Rolle and picked up Keith Bullock to replace the now retired Antonio Pierce. Make or break for them will be to see how that recieving core emerges this year. Manningham and Nicks respectively need to have monster seasons for big blue to be in the elite this year. Smith is a beast but needs heavy support from the other guys at wide reciever. I hope the team at this point is "over" Brandon Jacobs and decides to trust Manning to carry the load.
Pick to win it all this year: The New York Jets (sorry as usual Drew).
Jets made some monster free agency moves picking up Antonio Cromartie, Jason Taylor, Santonio Holmes, Ladanian Tomlinson (3-headed running attack anyone?), Braylon Edwards among others. The achilles heel will be how well QB Mark Sanchez performs with such high expectations but I think this guy will do fine with the monster defense the Jets have going in as long as they work out the Darelle Revis holdout.. They are going to be the beast in the NFL this year.
Team to watch this year: The Cincinatti Bengals with Chad "OCHOCINCO" and Terrel Owens i predict heavy shenanigans. They can make a run too as long as their defense stays solid.
The Ravens were looking good but have significant injuries either way you fantasy guys would be smart to pick up Ray Rice as I feel he is going to be a statistal beast toting the load for a now offensive minded Ravens team.

| wtf how would you know that? anyway, yes i played football. and i have injuries related to it to this day. all for what? i dunno that was the thing to do in middle school/high school...until i fell in with the stoners that is...so yes, i did play football in school, and i was also actually pretty good at it, but I could hardly be called a grown man at the time(did have a sweet neck beard tho) |

| ahhhhhhh yesss my flyers bring the nhl back but ya the 49er's r a sleeper pick there qb ?'s kill them for me though and gore isnt frank gore anymore hes just old. vernon davis is beast though watch out |

Dolphins 2010 Super Bowl Champions...book it
I will expound...basically last year this team was very good and their losses were close games they should've one, namely against the Colts and the Saints; everyone remembers the Dolphins Monday Night game against the Colts, where the Dolphins controlled the ball for 45 of a possible 60 minutes, but due to a couple big plays from Manning lost 27-24; and they were up on the Saints 24-3, before allowing Drew Brees and co. to storm back...
Alot of Miami's problems were based on poor free safety play and lack of a pass rush; Miami has addressed this by releasing Gibril Wilson who was really a strong safety playing out of position, and also releasing Joey Porter and Jason Taylor, who were two over the hill pass rushers well past their prime with egos requiring playing time which inhibited the growth of Miami's young pass rushers.
Now they have Chris Clemons, the speedy sophmore from Clemson starting at FS, and CFL sensation Cameron Wake who had 5.5 sacks for the Dolphins in limited time last year filling each respective roll. Also adding Defensive Coordinator Mike Nolan and his exotic blitz packages should give opposing QB's fits.
On offense Miami was one of the most dynamic running games in the NFL, and with a healthy Ronnie Brown, and Ricky Williams back, running behind one of the games best O-Lines anchored by 3rd year star Jake Long, this doesn't figure to change.
Miami's biggest problem was the lack of the big play in the passing game. The addition of superstar WR Brandon "The Beast" Marshall, this figures to be a problem of the past. Miami's young QB Chad Henne, is the most talented QB in South Beach since Dan Marino left, and many experts feel he is a much better talent than AFC East rival Jets' Mark Sanchez.
The AFC East will be a dogfight no question about it, but I think behind the brain trust of Head Coach Tony Sparano, GM Jeff Ireland, and of course the legendary Bill Parcells; Miami has the toughest and largest physical roster in the NFL, and this should spell playoff success.

well last year was a different story, the teams progress has been staggering, and honestly Miami was a couple breaks from the playoffs last year, injuries really killed them; this year they've added not only some great difference makers, but also some solid depth, and their youth movement has gained valuable experience, I forsee a bunch of breakout players this year; some names to keep an eye on besides the obvious:
Kendall Langford
Randy Starks
Sean Smith
Vontae Davis
Cameron Wake
Davone Bess
2-3 of those players should make the pro bowl |

| sorry but miami def wont be winning it all do i think they have a GOOD team yes they got a young nucleaus but not a GREAT team they got a ways to go and just to be the 1 oddball this year i WILL be rooting for brett farve get him his f*ckin title and f*ckin quit already im just really intersted in who the breakout running back of the year is gonna be the past few years has been GREAT if u like awsome breakout running back |
