I don't complain about that because that means people still have interest in electronic music and that says there's a lot of potential out there to break through to people. Any exposure to edm is a win for us. Sure it sucks, but more people end up looking into other genres if they like it. For me, atari teenage riot opened me up to giving a listen to other genres (plus a lot of NIN helped). Any pop market exposure is good, even if it sucks. How else do you think we are going to get people into it? Pray that kids pick up a used copy of dieselboys a soldiers story @ fye? Unlikely and usually doesn't work that way. |
