So i just got these as an early christmas gift, and for 100 dollars they are wicked sick. sound is crystal clear with tons of bass. completely detachable cord(comes with one for club mixing, and a shorter one for home use) which locks into the left ear. and the best thing overall is the tilting right ear. it rotates up to 60 degrees in an up and down motion. overall great buy and would recommend them for any DJ. |

Their noise cancelling is shit.
Go with technics or pioneers for the bang for your buck. Everyone seems to love the pioneers but i stick with my Technics RP-DH1200 |

seriously. people really need to get educated if they're gonna claim to like edm. i remember when i took my first edm test... i BARELY passed. i felt like such a scrub. but, then i studied my ass off.. retook the test.. got an A - AND a motherfuckin gold star.
now i only associate with gold star club members. which reminds me.. imma have to see all your gold star club member cards when you get a chance please. thanks.

have them not a fan. They break easy. Went threw 2 pairs. Ian funny how you say sonys suck yet i have pairs that are outliving my pioneers 10 times over haha If ya can find them the Sonys that Depth have are the best phones I have ever put on my head. I believe they dont make them any more and are pricy. The technics are nice. I have friends who use Sennheiser Hd-25 Mkii and love them as for a differ than the norm. The ultrasons to. I will be getting the 7506 as I have 3 pairs of sony still going. The build and comfort are best. I cant wear the Pioneers for more than a couple hours before they bother me. When doing 3 to 4 hours sets that is a factor to me. Comfort. Now if their was only a place on this board to talk about this stuff :-) |

i <3 my technics... skull candy headphones look cool - but they certainly don't look to be very sturdy/durable to me... i've heard a LOT of bad things about the sony's though... and the pioneers seem to come second to the techs from what i've heard from friends that own them... |

yes those are the ones http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=428238&Q=&is=REG&A=details
I have to laugh when I hear bad things about Sonys lol. So many big names in the DJ industry use them loyally. My only problem whats so ever in my 18 years as a DJ is the leather wears off the sonys. Other than that my 600s (3 pairs) all still outlived everything else I have tried. I have 3 pairs total. The cables have finally stretched out so I just got new pairs. I am using the Pioneers out when I play hour gigs but use Sonys for long sets. my next pair will be the 900s. I have tried them out and they are awesome. |

yup
had a pair for 6 years, lost 'em, and promptly replaced them
much more durable than anything from Sony, Pioneer or Tech, and imo they sound better than any of them too
The price is good for them thats for sure. |

I've had the same headphones for 4 years and they are sonys. I can hear fine with them, and they aren't broken. Why change now? =) |

Skull candy headphones are middle of the road at best they are very stylish and comfy but distort when driven hard. They are very fragile but come with a full warranty "make sure you have backups"the volume on the cord is a great feature and changeable earpads rock they come with two pair. I may try some sennheisers DA swears by em too them pioneers are tempting though even with the hefty tag. |

have had three pairs of sony 700s, they're loud, they're cheep, they break on the hinge all the time, i will continue to use them as long as i can keep buying new ones. |
