| I think he's complaining so much because he has nothing to contribute except a bad attitude and shady facts about how great things used to be. What the f*ck is the big deal, it seems like EDM is getting more popular and diverse each year. There has been a huge global movement in the past decade, massive parties featuring artists from all over the world, people flying across the world to attend certain parties, a huge explosion in new gear and tech, lots of collaboration between various artists of different genres ect. Further more upstate ny has some pretty good parties considering it's location and the amount of people here vs. much larger cities in the USA. Big name artist come here at least once a month and if you really need to see someone like PVD ect you can usually find something in NYC,Montreal,Toronto ect. You have to stop bitching about everything and either shut up or try to make things better if you think it's so bad. |

This is why I don't flow with this new agenda. Passionate people who want to build a "scene" or "movement" don't exist. This scene lacks passion towards an actual goal of being independent and being able to ride on its own success without the help of an outside scene tied in. Shit like this is poisonous to the culture. I don't agree with it and I'm not going to sit there working with unpassionate people who already have success. I'd rather sit there watching all of your guys' ships sink and start fresh than work with any of you who don't give a f*ck. Maybe, ideal circumstances are, that's what needs to happen.

You do realize that it's just partying right? Deep down it's just about having a good time.
What has a movement of people dancing ever done?
Did the hippies change the world? Nope... Now they're the one's getting into gov't now and f*cking us over even more than "the man" they were fighting against.
This whole imaginary "party to change the world" nonsense has got to stop.
You want to create a movement, a nightclub is not the place to start it.
I find it so funny people put so much stock into music "movements" when they just change every few years.

Yeah what's wrong with a kegger? I had some of the best times of my life at Keggers.
It's just a different level of throwing parties.
EVERY party promoter probably started out throwing keggers.
As you gain more experience hosting parties and succeeding, your parties will get bigger. You don't want to throw keggers forever. If I had the backing I would be throwing events in Arenas. Maybe in a year or two, we will be.
What am I backing? People having fun listening to music I like?
You're bashing the music I like - well then I say f*ck you and leave me alone.
I despise country music, but I don't go on country music forums and fill my life with hate for the people who promote it.
You're worse for this "scene" then every Jersey Shore Guido and Hippy combined. |

i'm pretty sure passion isnt something you should be questioning of Don Stone anymore, Brandon. If anyone has proven passion it's Don. He promotes, produces, and DJs.
What's a better reason to throw a party than to give people an oppurtunity to listen to awesome music and have fun and drink?
i dont really get what youre hating so hard on. You barely go out anyways, even to the parties you say youre going to go to..
