apparently skrillex should get a grammy because on his baseball card he makes it look like using an upfader on his mixer to *ahem* drop it, is some techno-magical trick. also the bald head is funny  |

I think its funny they have him tweeking a tricked out mixer on this flyer, if you see his live performance he only uses that little M-Audio MIDI controler and basically runs his tracks back to back(no live sampling or loops), tweeks one knob at "the drop" loaded with the same FX everytime, then mixes in his next auto-synched track the last minute of the song. I'm all for new mediums but he's not doing anything an average DJ could do with two deck and decent 2 channel mixer with onboard FX. |

I never got the gold star. I failed when I couldn't tell the difference between Jungle and D&B. Also never got 2 step. But, then again, I'm not a DJ. Sad face. |
