I dont believe i ever refered to anyones MCing as wickity wack...i believe that was a reference to the sounds that are made when the mic gets brutalized by rhyming....I am actually a big fan of old school hip hop and rhymes...but lately I've had a few dj outings where the MC would NOT get off the mic even after the d&b dj was done and we breaks djs started playing....kinda frustrating to mix over that sillyness....can ya dig???
i honestly meant no disrepect toward anyone....I am just NOT a fan of MC's at electronic music events...Its not a hip hop show...its an EDM event...right?
I asked 3 months ago for djs who were interested in playing....If I had wanted to hear MCs I would have put the call out for them as well...sorry.....i know it sounds like I'm comin' off sounding like a dick...but...this event is quite possibly my finest achievment....and I am very proud of the work I've done to get this thang rollin'...I'm sorry that the MC community was harshly overlooked in these regards but....(the following is a joke)"It's MY party and I'll shun MCs if
I want to"....just kidding...I love everyone and I've got huge respect for any and all music talent...straight up!!! I cant talk that fast on the Mic...big ups for turbo tongue...I hope this doesnt discourage you from attending "Far Out"...I'm sure regardless of weather or not you get on the mic you'll still have a great time...

Yeeeeeeah < 1 week!!
Question: Will there be food vendors of any sort, or should we bring grub to keep us going? I am old, so I actually DO need food and/or rest to stay on the dance floor for THAT long. :)
Also, jasno, why should we bring drums if there are two stages going all day and night? I <3 drums, but something tells me that they wouldn't get used if we brought them!

first...to finally put to rest the MCing debate...I could care less if MC's do their lyrical wang bang thang @ "Far Out"...it is completely up to the dj playing as to weather or not they need an MC...I personally think if an MC picks up the Mic while I'm playing Im gonna chuck the Mic and the MC into the deep woods...dig?
now that we have that straightened out....on to bizzness...

geez Clare...thats kinda harsh dude...I put alot of time and effort into this event...I would hope that some people would stick around after their sets...seems kinda negative to believe otherwise...No one is forcing you to come out to play bro...you could have easily NOT volunteered your skills to the cause...after all>I wouldnt want to inconvenience you in any way thppppt!!!!
