i welcome the change in venue.. i love trexx!

exactly.
trexx is BY FAR the MOST used venue in syracuse.
we're down to, it gets canceled. or moved. were not canceling.
It holds events with absolutely no one inside, and large events.
Was it our first pick? No. we wanted more space. Less than two weeks away. We ran all over the place.
If anyone wanted to nab a 3 rooms venue that will hold at least what we can put into trexx that will let us be open til 5am. Let us know, because the resources arent there this short notice.
If it was a month or so ago. It wouldnt have been as much of a problem.
we are absolutely bringing in tons of more sound/lights/ everything for this event still!

i may be just a simple cave man lawyer.. but show me a crew/business person who snatches up some warehouse space in 'cuse and sets up a skatepark/art studio/coffee shop by day and then a club/party venue at night..
and i'll show a very successful crew/business person.
i know there would be a BAJILLION details to iron out and forms to jump through, but i think this type of space is exactly what the upstate "scene" needs.
a venue by the people... for the people |

| i love trexx i just hope its not too crowded. i like crowded but i don't like it when theres so many people that theres not even enough room to dance. anyone remember new years eve last year? that was insane. |

The problem is.. syracuse has a short attention span.. People grow to hate a venue that's used more then once. Atlantis, H20, Button's, Action Skate, Roadhaus, Trexx.. Shit even the hideaway in utica and Pirahna in Rochester. Once is gone through it's 5th event people start going "Eh? it's at Blah blah blah again?" |

fun warehouse is not available for that date. we've tried. Plus the whole place would have to be taken apart for it to work.
But yeah. we have been everywhere since last week when we found out we needed a new place. |

my bad for some reason i thought it was the venue people were using that was being used for a while it was like some guys house. spaced on that. fun warehouse would be amazing!!!! but trexx will suffice |

| i think you're thinking of the vibe warehouse aka fort chaos. that place was sketchy as hell. went there once, never went back. pretty sure that place is retired now though. |
