| Quikk Fixx (#1) was my fav, by far. Think it was the same weekend as a scotty paluza. what a weekend! |

Yeah that was something amazing.. I couldn't believe how many people showed event though we were going head to head with "the Rumble" in Rochester. That event still holds the record for attendance at button's.. Followed very closely by that Venom event that V.S. did..
Anyway, After quite a bit of negotation.. The Quikk Fixx tradition will continue with Visionary Mindz, DI and Vibe bringing it to the masses.. It makes me intensly excited to see it continue with three seperate generations of event production teaming up. Watch out It's going to be off the chain when the line up is released. |

oh man, this brings me back....
back in the day when raves were renagade n thrown in sometimes "not so legal" venues, like wherehouses n coffie shop basments, we had to use map points. a map point is a way to stay one foot ahead of the local authorities, or to be abit more "selective" of the type of people attending the event. the way it used to work was (i.e.)-
your at a rave, you get a flyer for another party, on the back of the flyer was directions to a map ponit (a place selected other than the location of the party where you purchase tickets), on the date of the party you drive to the location of the map point, you NEED the flyer for the party (and usually a random item selected that night and heard of through the grape vine {i.e.- a pack of twizzlers}, after this you buy your tickets and receive directions to the location the party.
map points aren't quite as complacated now though, but those were some interesting times :)
anyway, i've been to every QF thusfar, cant wait to see what unfolds this time around ;) |

| yeah, unfortunatly our scene has kinda gone mainstream and people are not so "blind" as to whats going on around them now, and by "mainstream" i dont mean in the kinda "alternative rock" sense. i mean it in the sense that shits gotta be legit- permits, licenses, fire code's.... without these, you WILL be shut down. though it would be kinda fun to do it anyway and see what happens ( as long as it's not my name on the line, LOL ) |

I would agree. Unless we are breaking into a warehouse somewhere to hold this event. Then it would be very beneficitial.

Thanks for the info. That would be fun but I see what you mean by all the "legal" issues involved. Either way, I hope there will be alcohol at QF this year. |

Word that was what you call an illegal venue : ) I was temped to do a a trick like that this year. But found a venue that I HAD to use.. I know everyones socks are going to be completely blown off for this one. 100% virgin and 100% new. I can't wait to see what VM, DI and Vibe have in store on the talent tip. |
