five bucks at the door?? i have no problem paying 5 bucks to get in, but the majority of people from bingo are broke as hell and that $5 would seriously change their decision on whether or not they would come out lol...
I think at first it would be a smart idea for it to have no cover charge until you actually build a clientel/crowd that comes out every week. |

I hear what your saying man and feel your pain based on the economy. However...let's get serious. First off is mofos can't afford $5 then they need to get a job. With all due respect motherfuckers are lazy these days. Ipods, video games, and cell phones with their stupid ass texting bullshit. WTF...Lift your lazy ass arm and call a somebitch...motherfuckers would wait til 3am and spend their savings on going out to a bubble party then what. We gonna nickle and dime talent and sound systems and make it all go to shit in Binghamton. Costs $25 to get in Lava and that bitch is packed. Why...cause nobody wants to hang out with broke motherfuckers bummin drinks. The only thing that scenario brings in the end is the assholes that don't give a fuck about anything and end up ruining the night for everyone else. If one of the people in this forum can't afford five bucks email me and i'll put your ass to work painting my house, ripping weeds out of the ground, or wash my mother fuckin dishes. So in ending stick with five bucks. Makes people honest like buying into a card game. No disrespect to your post i'm just tired of mofos whining about cash...if you ain't got it...get it. So if they can't afford five dollars looks like it will just be you and me bro poundin some beers! MMM delicous!!! This is my message to the American people. WAKE THE FUCK UP, GET YOUR FAT ASSES OF THE FUCKING COUCH, AND GET A FUCKING JOB!!! Just a response to the subject Krypto nothing thrown your way;)quote: Originally posted by ll Krypt0 ll

...and my two cents goes like this. $5 or no $, the Mad Moose will be packed every single saturday night. The place thrives on the S.U.N.Y. kids no matter what's being played and I know alot of S.U.N.Y kids that are from the City that love House Music.
Also, Club Liguid is right around the corner with their rap format. Between the two clubs, all the die hard rockers will avoid the strip and hit off the two best plush nightclubs in town.
Jussle is ripping it up in Liquid on saturdays and with the resident/guest dj's at the Mad Moose, DT Bingo will be rocking again with great tunes, not just the same BS thats played on the strip.(how many times in one night can you deal with "Sweet Caroline"?)
Well done Rustik on the new venue. Good Luck. |

I SAY AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!...I know I will DEF be rocking back and forth all night between the mad moose and liquid to hear old duff and justin!!! I will be getting a hold of everyone soon for bookings I have been SO SO busy...
FYI this is NOT a WEEKLY or a BI WEEKLY like we are used to doing.. This is a test--- A series of events and this is 1.0.. 'go back to page 1'. Anyhow if we move back downtown instead near the outskirts of town, what the FUCK do you think happens? When prime time real estate costs as much as it does in ANY Downtown it is harder to work with with business owners. Thus the 5$,thus the hey guys I own this bar I'm in business if you don't bring people here to my bar then well FUCK OFF .... What would you do if you owned the place. Anyhow I don't need to explain myself or ANYTHING I do, because MOST people who know me realize that's it's probably overall better for the scene. I have no problem when other crew throw parties or try to do shit here. I do have a problem when we feel like we get our toes stepped on. Then I just HAVE to say something. Anhow we do this for fun, and look how stressed out it always seem to be. FUCK YOU Hey I like that Justin let's not get hype hey Fuck you

It's funny I am reading this, because on 4th @ Liquids of July 3 people from my wife's high school bitched about the $6 cover, so I paid for all them to get in.
Fact of the matter is that if you are trying to get new faces in, it is indeed tough to get them to pay a cover, especially when all the college kids are used to free admission and $1 drafts LOL .
I can't wait to check out the Moose! Good job Pat. |

I understand but I tell you what there are only a FEW places left where you DON'T pay cover downtown. I pay 3$ just to walk in the door of flasbacks to hear people pushing buttons and crunchin the sound system.. We pay out of pocket for Flyers $125 printing Graphix $25 Equpiment $15000+ dj booking free to $3000 Truck N Gas $75 Ravers priceless anyhow everyone knows what goes into it especially the peole doing there own events I understand Eveyones point of view but the facts are.. THERE IS NO SOUND THERE THERE IS NO EQUIPMENT WHEN EVERYONE IS ON THE WAY TO THE AFTERHOURS WE WILL STILL BE THERE SWEATING TEARING DOWN SOUND for 1.5 hours.... I can not afford any longer to pay for everything, just to offset the poor kids. Rustik has thrown more FREE Partys than ANY CREW with the exception of BrainFroots weekly that was held together by ummm well many Rustik and Brainfoot dj's.."LONGEST RUNNING WEEKLY IN NYS for Electronic Dance Music" countless radio shows on 90.5 FM Mad MAD MAD MAD events. Shit not to mention the DJ's support all the music that they put into it, time building there sets. The gas money I give them. Rustik ALWAYS takes care of the dj's playing "A lil too much :) with ENDLESS DRINKS " I personally drop over a 100$ every ZIPPERS FRI NIGHT SHOW JUST FOR THE DJ's to DRINK 5$ is a treat to listen to music like this.. if you don't spend the 5$ there they just end up buying a 40 and a pack of smokes. A Denny's 3.99$ Slam or a crack rock.
FUCKYOU --man I love it get Fucked !!!!!!! are you ready BINGHAMTON??? |

| You know, we should really get this put into the Press & Sun's Thursday "Good Times." I think it's free to list, and that could definitely boost attendance! |

Thank you Sara..
We try to stay out of that.. We haved used it manytimes for promotion thru the years, and has ALWAYS been here as a resourse and FREE..
Were a little shaddy though and a lil underground!!!!!!... Although I guess times have changed, I will put it in just for you!!!... I only like to work with them once in a while.. If we wanted, we could have a whole writeup and center piece put in..
WE have some MAJOR MAJOR BIG plans and our just waiting for some things to go thru.. It's hard to really put alot of effort promoting DIVE bars and making them into something that people actually want to hang out in.. We are REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD at that.. BELMAR 1998 PATTYS IRISH PUB aka FITZIES 1999 NOTHERN LIGHTS 2000 SHENNANIGANS 2003 and this list goes on and on right up to ZIPPERS 2008 big gay dive that we helped make a very diverse place making a bunch of money, into where they shit down our throats.. It's ok though because if you notice like 5 people hang out there at ANY giving time. The owners are financially set and could care less about that place it's just a toy to play with.. So at this point why market and promote a place that's not ours.. After 15 years of dealing with asshole bar/club owners you see EVEYTHING- Positive NEgative.. And remember before that we were party kids "getting into the scene" so really it's just we were there at the begginig of all this nonsense in the US.. I was really really luck to have great friends like MJ DUKE that were into it. "djing" In like 1994 @ WINDOWS he already mastered mixing playing all the hotest dance music of that time.. When the Rave scene went underground there were the SPACE ONES JORDAN VESTEY BOYWONDER JUNIPER and the DOSE THE ALIENS ... Binghamton was blessed with mad talent. We have rode everywave you could surf along with Brainfroot and BUbble crew, and Plug n play... Really though is you look WE are some of the oldest EDM production companies in NYS. It's a main reason I have been so Negative with our scene in the last year esp when people talk shit out of their mouths when they have no idea or anyfucking clue.... But the people who matter do. So many lil dj's compainies events come and go.. Like big trees with giant roots the real ones stay .. You always find out in the End if your here, for what reasons. I KNOW RUSTIK is about the music.. How about some of you lil SYRACUSE FUCKS -- PUT DOWN THE DRUGS FUCKHEADS ---- OPEN YOUR EARS ---LISTEN----
Anyhow BLAH BLAH BLAH let's talk about something real important, If we have some press done up were totally using your boobies !!!!! :))
PEACE and hugs n kisses |
