my needles were NOT the only things to vanish that night...2 of the feet on my technic 1200 were taken...i had noticed early in the night that the decks being used by the djs had 2 feet missing and the deck was all tipped to the right 'n shit...some-one commented to me that it must be hard to play that way...later when i finally realized that my needles were gone i noticed that 2 of the feet from my table were now gone and the decks being used were straightened out...coincidence? i think not...I'm not Sherlock Holmes but damn folks...WTF????
lame!i can only assume that whoever did the switheroo also stole my needles and my computer power cable and the plastic cover for my turntable with a "Deadly" sticker on it...

**and by the way Mikey...alot of people still use turntables...just because you have surrendered yourself to the elitist crap and trendy CD mixers doesnt mean that we should all follow suit like a flock of sheep...I'm NOT as quick to follow the "cool guy" lead as much as others...besides...anybody can download and burn CDs...what ever happened to the excentricity of vinyl collecting...I personally have scoured the earth long and far to find my most prized albums...whats the longest lengths you've gone to get an mp3???Beatport? & at what cost???
a few dollars...maybe?!my records average in cost from domestic price of 7.99 each to imports at 10.99 and up...should i just get rid of my records and tables to follow the trends of CD mixers and start over from scratch???that shit is cool 'n stuff but its NOT that cool....conformity?????????

No offense, but that whole Vinyl forever shit is a pretty dumb argument.. IF you wanna be technical, VINYL is way outdated too and pretty standard.. You wanna be a REAL dj get some anologue gear and start making REAL music.. Othewrise your as basic and trendy as the rest of us..
I will check my trunk for your "cord" im really not sure what it looks like tho ill take a 2nd glance.. but I def dont have anything regarding ure tables cause mine are labled with pen and autographed by josh the funky 1 so thats unmistable heh..
anyways, ya.. that spretty lame Lab and ill def keep an eye out for shit .. I didnt even kno whos tables those were so all i did was set them up top the speakers and leave em there.. You might wanna try STEVE E.. in case he packed them up or Nexus in case he ptu them in his lazers bag..

no your feet are on the turntable that was on the right handside of the mixer. sorry i didint put those back but if those are trexxs turntables tell them about it i'm sure they would give them back.
I spin only vinyl so when i saw the turntable only had 2 feet on it i saw the turntable behind me and grabbed them off of there.

I also noticed from some pics that someone was spining vinyl in there well after i left. Had a female mc? Not pointing fingers or anything, just sayin. I hope you find your needles though thats bullshit.

But our scene has ALWAYS been about technology and progression.
As the yrs go by music progresses more, just like how you play/make music does.
I dont like spinning cds but i own a pair of cdj 1000s and plan to get serato. All I'm sayin is you gotta go with the flow even though its not the same, its what it's all about. Progress

the feet for my tables is a start...ive pretty much come to terms with the fact that my needles are gone forever...i found a replacement cord for my computer on E-bay for under 20 bucks...I'm probably buying it back from the dick that stole it but whatever...i guess thats the price you pay for assuming that there are good people in the world...

| i made my statement cuz i was happy that lab played vinyl at this event. not meant to highjack as much as i meant to make him feel better after what was said in this thread The only thing highjacked was Labs needles haha. |
