Since 1994, both as a performer and promoter, Dose has played an intricate part in laying the foundation of the Upstate Rave Scene. By 1998 he was one of the most sought after Hard Trance DJs headlining events across North America with the likes of Nostrum, Frankie Bones, and Commander Tom. This fall has been a busy one for D74 as he had a total of five projects released on three different labels: Visionary Mindz, SINSation, and Protium Recordings.

Mikey Parkay's Journey began at the turn of the century during the pinnacle of the electronica boom in the United States. First, like most electronica oriented performers he was raised on the underground culture and grew up listening to many of whom are considered today's most prolific producer's and turntabilists. Paying close attention to artists such as Paul Van Dyk, Armand Van Helden, The Chemical brothers, Fat Boy Slim, Bad Boy Bill and many more of the United States hardest working entertainers. After buying his first set of turntables in 2001 he worked diligently perfecting his mixing skills and learning how to manipulate music to create his own unique sound and persona behind the turntables. By 2003 he was already frequenting many of New York's hottest dance and night clubs including residencies throughout the Upstate, NY scene. Over the next few years Mikey Parkay has released several mix compilations and well received demo tapes. This in turn catapulted his career into bookings throughout the northeast in some of the biggest nightclubs and festivals. His career has lead him to places like New York City, Philadelphia, and as far North as Toronto.
In 2006 with the help of a long time friend, Dose the alien, Parkay started up VisionaryMindz Recordings and Productions. In just the first year of operation the label has grown into 7 releases, 4 very successful events, and a list of artists of which very well may change the face of electronica in years to come. With consistent bookings throughout the Northeast in conjunction with his new label and tremendous efforts in the studio it is just the beginning. Mikey Parkay is a name to look for in years to come..!

Born as Matthew Aubeuf, Dj Bebop's music career started in 1998 when he first started learning the drums. After playing drums for several years, Bebop became aware of the electronic dance music scene. To the majority of peeps who already sent me all of their info and people stoked about this...no worries...it will be a good time whether you come to one or both of the nights. This is something i have never tried before but what if dogs never learned to put their legs up when they take a leak...the world would be such a different place...or what if nobody ever put a 33 record on 45...there would have never been happy hardcore...jk. You all get my point. This is my Christmas present to myself and the one thing per year i toss money on to have fun and enjoy the holiday season. Its like a milk and cookies tour for me;) But i'm sure there are details that will have to be overcome but none the less I got 5 months to do whatever it takes to get my elves up to speed, get them toys made, and plan my run. |
