| i completely appoligize for dissing your party...wicked lame of me...just didnt agree on the idea of the party...sorry if i upset anyone didnt mean to just wanted to state my opinion like everyone else does on these boards! |

Well.. Nikki.. You and I both know back when you and I were first going out to events.. we wouldn't dare shitee on someones party like bender did. We were just happy to have a place to go that was playing our music. We remembered that when we first started going out if we wanted to go to ONE PARTY A MONTH then had better gas up the car and drive 4 or 5 hours. Mass, NYC, Detroit, Toronto were considered CLOSE. Now, theres something going on in our back yard and in pisses me off to see kids gripe. I gasp when I see utter disrespect to the companies that put thousands of thier own personal dollars on the line. Just to have people bitch.
Peace will come when people understand the work that goes into these events and stop bitching.. If people took an interest watched promoters flyering lot after lot.. driving from city to city.. If people showed some love, unified and supported the people that do these events that would happen. People just don't know where promoters are coming from. Cause when they fold.. we'll have no damn techno.
Thats what I'm saying.. what happened? Things never used to be like this back in the day. I guess I'm just a die-hard Buttons Kid & will forever wish the scene was as carefree, peaceful & loving as it used to be..
Best of luck to your party.. I wont be there but I hope everyone that is has a good time.

Opinions are cool.. that's how progress is made. I'm just a little unhappy with the term "worst idea ever".. But, I do thank you for the apology. I think also if you check it out this weekend you'll be suprised at the vibe in there. It's much like the old days.. That's coming from someone who used to huddle with a group a friends against the turbo off road arcade and laugh at Driver on the side of the machine for giving us the thumbs up. Hahaha. |

The Address for Stick Up on Sat, July 25th, 2009 is 163 Mary st. Syracuse, NY 13208.
First, We INSIST that you do not wear your face masks or have them on display (ex. around your neck) outside the venue when walking to or from the car. There is a lobby in the venue, this is where you put them on. Come to the door with a mask on, your just going to piss us off and you will not be let in until it's off.
Second, Use the entrance on the brick part of the building facing Mary st. Please do not park in front of the venue or loiter outside and find a legit place to park otherwise you will be ticketed. This is a private party at a private venue. You are more than welcome to be a guest just sign in at the front door.
Third, Our security is friendly but firm, They search, No weapons, Thugs, Drugs, Markers and No outside drinks. |

No it won't.. but the biggest problem with that set up is that people had to add turntables and CDJs and and generally frack with it all the time. |
