When I spoke with the manager of the venue.. He confirmed to me that capacity is 700 but would fit 850-900 I just cant promote it on the flyer..
If the fire marshall comes it woud be my concern, but we have a arrangement worked out to where it should benifit everyone and things would be more than ok ..
To be safe.. im promoting to buy ure presales early so ure not one of the poeple left outside waiting to get in Cause the first 700 presales are getting in first obvoiusly.. the other 200-300 peopel migt have to sit tehre waiting till they decide to let u in lol
Thats why im giving ample time for everyone to purcahse them online or at the sabistinos because I dont wanna hear that poeple didnt have 2 months to buy them ..

Mikey did all the hard work, but if it wasn't for me, this probably wouldn't have happened. I didn't hear of anyone else dropping $5000 of their own money to actually book Infected Mushroom....
Yeah, mad props to Mikey for getting everything and everyone in touch, but I'd like some credit too, because he didn't have the 5 grand to actually book them.....

EDM event promotion isn't about glory. Unfortunately a lot of the people who throw events are not recognized for what they do. But they keep on doing it. It gets under your skin, and it becomes something you have to do to be fullfilled. I guarantee that when you see 700 people freaking out to IM, you will forget about who gets the credit and be completely satisfied. Bottom line, credit or no, If you really love to do it, you will anyway. |

I'm not all uptight, I just felt like Mikey was getting all the credit....I'm not hung on it, just felt like mentioning it.
Credit or no, I know I am a part of something that will blow everyone away and that is why I pitched in....to be part of something everyone will ALWAYS remember. I will feel accomplished and the utmost satisfied with myself and the anyone who made this happen.

Its part of the game dude, the older promoters will always be recognizable to the people who dont know, dont take offense to it just work with it and move forward, I went thru it with dose the alien and the bubble and so have many other kids like direkt influence and all them.. Just part of the maturity of promotions.. Take it for what it is
The people who are a constant name on every msg board and forum are usually gonna get the most recognizable reviews or comments if you will.. "Both good and bad" in some scenarios but itll happen |

You guys really shouldnt be throwing around the figures of which you invested in this party. This is a public forum, just my 2 cents.
"Fire" was the biggest party I helped throw to date, and at the end of the day when my feet were swollen and ass chafed from helping w/ EVERYTHING from 12 pm-6am, the satisfaction I will never forget was seeing all the party people in party bliss because a few people got together to do something special.
Thats what throwing parties is all about. Never about the individual and all about the team. |
