Serious bizness tonight! Hellfire D-E-S-T-R-O-Y-E-D it. K!R started the night off on some sick dubstep as well def enjoyed it. Fun times good people silly antics. moment of the night Disko trying to hold me up with a video game shotgun and a out of order sign taped to his head. On the downside. Not to sound douchy but seriously 90-95% of you MC's need to give it a rest. same rhyme schemes and same flows Over EVERY track. Jumping on other Dj's sets when you dont have the status to be doing that. Know you guys mean well but damn man. Cant enjoy certain acts when ya guys are rambling sometimes. Especially when said acts are dropping tracks with MC's already on them. Other than that had a really fun time out even though I was retardedly sick and should have been in bed.
Ps. sorry vogel I missed most ur set. but the dubstep was calling me. |

I had a great time. Sadly I couldn't stay out to late due to going to work early but fun times indeed. Playing in the smoking room was interesting... I like the fact that they opened the door but took away the the space heater. Ended up playing most of my set in my coat... Hahah I hope everyone had a good time. Lost Monster out.

| woahness....once again hats off 2 mr mikey, youve def got the rave formula down 2 a science my friend....sooo we got there caught a lil bit of zoot and marz 21 sounded good...then whenever hoogs came he just tore the shit up....dropped the sick riverside dubstep/jungle track ppl where loosing there shit, i thought the mc's sounded great the mic levels seemed 2 be good and the content was fresh but diff strokes for diff fokes cant make everyone happy.....neways caught a lil bit of depths set got a psyed out nose bleed for a min there sounding good.....then i think i saw fixx for a lil bit breakin it out,was feeling the hardcore in the second room with vogel and how hard, havent heard hardcore in a while so i was like f*ck it lets check this shit out, walked away liking hardcore again (not like id go 2 a hardcore show, but ill rock out 2 a set r 2 in the future) nice job vogel :-) hellfire was sick, i almost got kicked out for my gun blazing "out of order" anitcs that security dood thats big with a goatee that looks goth or something is a power-trip-OUT, i was acting foolish and i understand you need to maintain order and shit but woaah duuuude lol just jokes wasnt trying 2 f*ck your night up, lastly i saw phunegye rippin the sick psy bombs right b4 i left, he was killin shit...all in all sick sets all around and thanks to mr mikey again :-) i wish somebody got a pic of the out of order sign on my head with guns a blazin..... |

| Ok.. Here's my take. Doesn't have to do anything with the event. Couldn't get in with my flyers so had to pass them out on the sidewalk in the cold.. But, Onto the topic at hand.. Jungle MCs. MCs are the point of arguement between the ravers/club kids and the true Junglists. Every Junglist knows that an MC has to rip it up. To see Skibba, Det, Rage, Eksman, Top Cat, Rhyme Tyme, GQ, MC MC, Bandit, Murdok, Scatter, Harvey and so on do thier thing.. It's AWEsome and makes you want to jump on the floor and dance your f*cking ass off.. It's part of the show. Konkrete Jungle, VIRAM, Projek, Direct Drive, WODNB, WEMF, Global Gathering.. They all are hype jungle events. With one or two MCs over EVERY dj... EVERY. Now.. When you have a mixed event, Club, Dance, Trance, House, Breaks.. Kids from that crowd seem to want to get down with pure music from the dj. Where the track selection and seemless mixing seem to take presidence. So suddenly, They are thrust into a world of Lyrics, Basslines, Rewinds, live interaction and immediate response. To those who get upset at this.. All I can say, you might like jungle. But, you don't like jungle events. Because that is wha they are about. You might want to try a licensed mix or playing dnb tracks unmixed if you are not into the hype that IS the roots of and the true dnb concept. |

| this isnt the first time this kinda shit has happened there, in fact it happens EVERY time. Im all for MC's, we have had this conversation many times before. Time and place, its too bad that nobody has the f*cking sack to speak up and im getting tired of slapping peoples wrists... Lemme put it to you this way, I dont play a set then after the headliner goes on push him aside and drop one of my tracks in the middle of his. Its f*cking rude. I don't know if the MC's were okayed by Fixx to spit rhymes over his tracks but Im assuming they werent, only because ive dealt with this shit so many times in the past with this crew. if this isnt the case then i stand corrected, im just going on past events. Im not trying to cause issues either but it annoys the shit out of me when this happens. |

Had much fun heheh  I was sad that I didn't see too much kandi....(Wasn't that supposed to be like....the theme? I didn't see any UFOs, but maybe I just missed that... )...nonetheless, it was shweet!!! I LOOOVED the hardstyle (It's my favorite!! ), oh my goodness haha....I'm sure some of you might have seen myself and my buddy Yoshi dancing like idiots in there haha 
FIXX was awesome, I had to leave a little while after he started though, because I had alot of homework to do today...(I got that done, by the way  )
All in all....greatttt night! One of the best ones I've had in a while!! <3<3 |

| despite the gripe i posted earlier, just want to say that I had a blast. Really like the way things are moving again, the groove and peoples attitude are great. Reminds me of how things used to be, keep up the positive thinking cuse :) |

Fixx okayed Murdok MCing and actually asked for it, I don't know if you're aware but Fixx has actually included Murdok on some of his productions and so that should answer that...
I think Todd pointed out the significance of MCs on Jungle in an earlier post so I won't regurgate that...
As far as rapping on other dj's sets besides the ones I'm booked for I can only speak for myself when I say I make it a point to ONLY MC when asked, and even then I sometimes will turn it down; I grabbed the mic to intro Hellfire Machina because they wanted an intro...
but besides that, heck of an event enjoyed the f*ck out of myself; Mikey great job as always...and it seemed not everyone hated MCs as I was thanked by many new faces for our performance sooo not to beat a dead horse buuuuut...I will caution you if you don't like MCs, don't come for Hoogs set tonight because me and Murdok plan on tearing it up again
Also in the future, we're all grown men and woman, so if there's any sort of problem its best to just bring it to someone's face like a grown man or woman instead of bitch on a raview but I guess that's just how I was brought up

Made it there around 10pm... Had a great time in the smoking room, surprised the quality of the DJ's that were spinning out there so I'd go out for a smoke but end up dancing there for a half hour. It was SICK to hear some good Hardcore/Hardstyle since I haven't even heard it played at a party yet. Also tried to do some Jumpstyle for the first time, so if you were in the second room and there was a retarded looking kid in a grey shirt and khaki pants jumping around that was me.
Hellfire Machina wrecked everything (I think he played "When I Look At You" by Emalkay) and of course that got everyone hype. The whole car and a half of people I had out there had a great time, great party, WOULD LET MY EARS BLEED AGAIN |

im a 10+ year dj who loves the math of mixing and the skill behind it...I am a huge fan of dj Fixx but it kinda took away from some of his set with constant chatter on the Mic...I loved his set...dont get me wrong...It was bad-ass! but i cant help wonder what some of those mixes sounded like under all that Mic chatter...can ya dig?

Kristen, dont be stupid. again, let me point this out to you. if an MC is booked with a dj, for example. "I Spin Crap feat. MC I wont shut my mouth", unless youve been asked to perform with someone else you shouldnt be on. When dj's get booked normally they get a set time to preform, they dont play over everyone elses set... its trivial nonsense and overall just a matter of people being rude or not. it has nothing to do with being an MC. to make my point further apparent here is another example, someones playing. then said hippie comes in with a drum and starts banging over the set, you cant hear the music and the beat gets all thrown off. bottom line is that you dont jump in on someones performance without consulting. its rude. understand or do we need to go back to cubby holes and nap time? :p |

Up until the point when i realized i lost my purse and my phone. . .both of which i found again this afternoon. . .it turns out i left them at trexx. . .Thanks to everyone who helped me find my things. . .good times! i got some really funny pics that i dont remember taking. . .i will be posting them on facebook in a day or two |
