the application requests pale in comparison to the spam friend requests on myspace. fuck even trying to see if it might be a real friend.
hard to find people on facebook?? how about the little module in the sidebar that forms a network of your friends, and displays a list of people that you probably know, based on the number of friends you have in common.
the myspace vs facebook arguement is so moot. myspace is to facebook is what IE is to firefox. |

| there's a lot you can do on myspace now to prevent spam requests. making people do a captcha, making them know your e-mail and/or last name, blocking requests from bands, comedians, etc. i get way more spam in the form of dumb facebook applications than i do on myspace. |
